FarmEquipmentCenter.com was completed in February 2004 after 5 months of intense development. It is based on the successful WheelsForYou automotive model from TownNews who hosts and designs many of our sites. This site has been modified specifically for farm equipment searches, with categories and accessories that are relevant to this market. As of 2008 we have a steady 20,000+ visitors coming to this site each month to shop approximately 9,000 pieces of equipment.
What makes this site unique is that it is not exclusive to only one type of dealer. Trucks, trailers, RV's and ATV's are welcome along with the traditional tractor and implement dealers. It is promoted only to producers, providing all dealers with a qualified base of visitors.

Inventory on this site is searchable by state, type, brand and even model number. Categories are broad (i.e. "Planting") to prevent confusing the viewer.

Detailed Equipment Descriptions
Each equipment listing provides a detailed description of the item, which can include multiple photos, price, hours/miles, conversion between US and Canadian dollars, and a lengthy text description. Dealers are able to communicate the features and quality of their equipment.
Dealer Contact
Dealer information is attached to each piece of inventory, and includes multiple contact methods; website link, email link, phone number and even a map to the street address!
Dealers can be located through a dealer listing as well. This allows them to link directly to their current inventory on this site from any other location.
Dealer Pages
Additionally, FarmEquipmentCenter offers dealer home pages for dealers who do not currently have web sites or dealers that would like to link to their inventory from their existing sites.
Dealer home pages contain the dealer's logo, contact information, and only that dealer's inventory. Visitors can search exclusively within the dealer's inventory.
Measurable results
Traffic is easily measurable, participating dealers can generate reports by top equipment type, make, model and by whether or not the ad generated an email contact. Sorry, if we have to close the sale for you too, we charge extra!
FarmEquipmentCenter.com does not have a print component at this time, but has the capability to export inventory directly to Quark templates, which can be used to generate print ads.
Promotion
FarmEquipmentCenter.com is actively promoted in our network of publications and websites, as well as other relevant venues. Along with dealer inventory, equipment classifieds from all publications are uploaded weekly to FarmEquipmentCenter.com to insure that there is always fresh, relevant inventory.
Dealer Participation
There are three options for adding dealer inventory to FarmEquipmentCenter.com. Special combo rates are available to advertisers with print ad contracts in any of our publications.

We will do the work for you! Let us populate your inventory based on the display ads that run in our relevant print product. All equipment (including printed photos) in the print ad gets uploaded to the website under that dealer's account. All inventory is overwritten each time to insure freshness. - Dealer or publication outside of our market wants to participate:
The publication or group will be given an account or multiple accounts as required. They can resell the access or offer the service of uploading inventory within their own market. Pricing is based on the number of accounts needed, setup fee is required. For more details contact Online Manager
